Writing: A Report School or Workplace
A report school or workplace is the B2 writing genre for institutional-format writing. The format covers a title and headings, an executive summary (or introduction), sections covering findings or background, recommendations, and a brief conclusion. Learners build the structured-document writing skill that professional and academic English routinely require.
This worksheet builds B2 writing fluency with report format.

Common challenges: Structural precision at B2 — reports follow conventional sections, and skipping or merging them weakens the format. Findings-vs-recommendations distinction: findings describe; recommendations prescribe. Neutral-analytical voice: avoiding personal opinion in findings, expressing it explicitly in recommendations.
