Writing: A Problem-Solution Essay

A problem-solution essay is the B2–C1 writing genre for analytical-and-prescriptive writing. The format covers an introduction defining the problem and its scale, body paragraphs analysing causes, body paragraphs proposing solutions with feasibility assessment, and a conclusion synthesising the recommended approach. Learners build the analytical-writing skill that distinguishes C1 from B2 writing.

This worksheet builds B2–C1 writing fluency with problem-solution essay format.
