Future Perfect
The Future Perfect (will have + past participle) expresses an action completed before a specific future moment. By Friday, I will have finished the report sets a deadline; By 2030, AI will have changed every industry projects forward and looks back. The key time expressions are by, by the time, before, in [time period] — and the contrast with the Future Continuous is the same simple/continuous shift as elsewhere: At 3 p.m., she’ll be writing the report (in progress) vs By 5 p.m., she’ll have finished the report (completed).
This worksheet builds B2 fluency with the Future Perfect through deadline-driven scenarios, prediction tasks, and contrast with the Future Continuous.
