Future Continuous
The Future Continuous (will be + verb-ing) expresses an action in progress at a specific future moment: At 9 a.m., I will be presenting, Don’t call at 3 p.m. — she’ll be working. Beyond that core use, it carries two further functions: planned or expected action in a future routine (I’ll be working from home on Friday as usual), and polite enquiry (Will you be using the meeting room?), which sounds less direct and more professional than Are you going to use…? The contrast with the Future Simple is the same in-progress / decision split that runs through the rest of the English tense system.
This worksheet builds B2 fluency with the Future Continuous in workplace, business-email, and indirect-enquiry contexts.
