Listening: A University Lecture Introduction
A university lecture introduction is a B2–C1 listening text in the academic-lecture genre. The audio covers the opening 10–15 minutes of a university lecture — the lecturer’s introduction, the lecture’s plan, the field overview, and the start of the first main section. Learners practise sustained academic-listening, note-taking under time pressure, and recognising lecture conventions.
