A narrative essay is the B2 creative-writing genre that combines storytelling with reflection. The format covers an opening that hooks the reader, a narrative core (the event being told), reflective passages exploring what the event meant and what was learned, and a closing that ties the narrative to a broader insight. Learners build the storytelling-plus-reflection skill central to B2 writing.
