Speaking: Giving Advice Would You
Giving advice is the B1 functional-speaking skill that combines hedging with helpfulness. The worksheet covers phrases for direct advice (You should, You ought to, I’d advise), softer suggestion (Why don’t you, Have you considered, You might want to), hypothetical advice (If I were you, I would), and warning (I wouldn’t, Be careful with).
