Listening: An Interview with a Scientist
An interview with a scientist is a B2 listening text in the expert-interview genre. The audio covers a journalist or host interviewing a scientist about their research — the question they’re investigating, the methods they use, their key findings so far, and what’s still unknown. Learners practise tracking academic-content vocabulary, recognising the scientist’s hedged claims, and identifying the interviewer’s probing questions.
