Listening: A Weather Forecast
Weather forecasts are the most predictable listening genre in everyday English — and one of the most useful for A1–A2 learners building survival comprehension. The text in this worksheet covers a typical short forecast: tomorrow’s weather across regions, temperatures in Celsius, expected conditions (sunny intervals, scattered showers, strong winds, possible thunderstorms), and a short outlook for the rest of the week. Learners practise catching specific data (numbers, places, conditions) against a backdrop of formulaic phrasing.
